General Principle : SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL's
vocation is to provide humanitarian aid and to intervene through acts
of solidarity, to assist populations under threat by war or by political,
ethnic, economic or any other kind of oppression. |

| Article 2

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL is independent and does
not support any political, economic, ethnic or religious groups. |
| Article 3
: |
Humanitarian aid is provided without discrimination
and is always adapted to the specific situation of the population
being assisted. |
| Article 4
: |
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL only intervenes when asked
to do so by the population under threat or by their legitimate representative.
This intervention may take the shape of emergency relief actions or
longer-term programs. |
| Article 5
: |
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL's actions are carried
out in full respect of the cultural identity and dignity of each individual. |
| Article 6
: |
Members of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
are responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the projects
adopted by the Organisation. |
| Article 7
: |
In accordance with its principles of
action and in order to achieve greater efficiency, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
collects information from other concerned organisations and institutions,
so as to coordinate and possibly cooperate with them. |
| Article 8
: |
As a witness of the difficult situations
in which it gets involved, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL attempts to inform
and, if necessary, alert public opinion. |
| Article 9

Every member of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
adopts and promises to respect the principles defined in this charter. |
