Bangladesh: Marie Houel Supply Manager for SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL testifies

Published on Wednesday 25 October 2017

Within the last six weeks, more than 600,000 Rohingya (October 2017) have arrived in Bangladesh, where the population density is already very high and the local population extremely poor.

The NGOs present in the area seek to respond as effectively and as quickly as possible to the vital needs of the populations. For this purpose, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL teams distribute kits of essential items and shelter kits and build latrines.

Marie Houel, Supply Manager for SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, travelled to Bangladesh to support our emergency teams, particularly on storage and supply issues. She helped identify a fish farm as a potential warehouse.

She testifies.
