VIDEO: 3 years of relief for Syrian refugees in Lebanon

Published on Tuesday 31 May 2016

Five years after the Syrian conflict began, Lebanon became the country hosting the highest density of refugees per capita. Three years ago, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL kick-started interventions to reduce the health risks refugees were confronted with. In its very first days of operations, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL’s mobile teams quickly identified new arrivals through a network of information points within local communities, improvised camps and collective shelters. Today, our teams provide aid to 75,000 people in 250 makeshift settlements and 470 collective shelters.
