Amanda Lovell
Graduated from the University of Cambridge, Amanda Lovell worked for 15 years in a press agency and financial data company where she took up several positions in finance in London and abroad. She lived for 4 years in Moscow from 1993 to 1997 during the First Chechen War where she witnessed the engagement of journalists to divulgate the events in an independent and neutral voice. This started her willingness to get involved with organizations that works with suffering people.
In 2004, she joined Solidarités International as Administrative and Financial Director and accompanied its growth for 11 years, always impressed by the willingness of the structure and its teams to go “even further” while managing complex contexts and difficulties of access.
Member of the association since 2005, Amanda wishes to take her commitment even further as a member of the Board of Directors, member of the Bureau and Treasurer of the association since September 2020.
