Respond Solidarity

The first response to human suffering must be solidarity.

At a time when hatred is pouring as violently and as openly onto social networks, even solidarity and humanitarian action are not spared.

Because it bears the name of an action that is becoming more and more contested, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL
wishes to recall its mandate, its mission, its commitment, its principles, its human values and its action without borders.

Our manifesto

The first response to human suffering must be solidarity.
This self-evidence is our motto.
It is self-evident because it happens with every human drama. When first of all, in the worst situations, hands are stretched out to help.

The first response to human suffering must be solidarity.
This self-evidence is our motto.
Our motto because it is on this idea that SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL was born in 1980. And that our humanitarian commitment has never wavered since.

The first response to human suffering must be solidarity.
This self-evidence is our motto.
Because our action is only a response to a duty of humanity. It is neutral, independent, impartial. It is based on no other consideration than the needs.
Because we bring, in our own hands, dignified and vital help to those whose health and even their lives are threatened. Without discrimination and independently of any political or media agenda.
Because we act in forgotten areas and countries. With men, women and children whose voices are not heard. And who suffer, often off the radar, away from the media and people’s concern.
Because every day we fight for access to those affected by war, natural disasters and epidemics. To relieve their suffering, to protect the health of the weakest and to enable them to overcome the worst ordeals.

The first response to human suffering must be solidarity.
This self-evidence is our motto.
Because access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene is a vital emergency in the event of conflict, natural disaster or epidemic, our teams have specialised in this field. Therefore, they work to help the most fragile in the most severe crisis areas, as quickly, efficiently and sustainably as possible, on a daily basis.

The first response to human suffering must be solidarity.
This self-evidence is our motto.
That is why over 90% of our resources are used directly in the field.
And that’s why we need you.
