Created in 1980, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is a non-governmental organization involved in the field of conflicts and natural or climatic disasters. The association’s mission is to provide rapid and effective assistance to people whose lives are threatened, by covering their basic needs: food, water, and shelter.
After responding to an emergency, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL teams accompany the affected families and communities until they recover the means of their subsistence and their autonomy to face, with dignity, the challenges of an uncertain future.

In order to be able to implement our projects in our different countries of action, we apply a principle that is dear to us: recruit where we work. Thanks to this, we have a team of more than 2,000 national workers in our fields of intervention. These teams work hand in hand with our expatriate employees, deployed as needed.

At our headquarters in Clichy la Garenne, dozens of people also work full time. They accompany and advise the field teams, from France, in the implementation of the various SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL programs. Similarly, the support services manage human resources, communication and fundraising, private and public partnerships, institutional cooperation, financial transparency, internal audits, and IT.

Whether in the field or at headquarters, all employees are committed professionals. Indeed, working at SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL means putting oneself at the service of a precise humanitarian mandate with the desire to have a positive and lasting impact on the world by contributing to the aid of vulnerable populations. It also means being part of an NGO and assuming demanding responsibilities, while having the opportunity to be heard and to count in the decisions.
