SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL alerts that in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), two individuals pretended to be employees of our NGO in late January to mid-February.
The first, wearing a t-shirt in the colors of our NGO, infiltrated one of our intervention zones, with the aim of endangering people’s safety.
The second forwarded confidential security information on Whatsapp and Facebook.
SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL strongly condemns these acts and recalls that all its employees are identifiable by an identification card with date and name.
Our NGO, which has been present in the DRC for 25 years, works as close as possible to the people and attaches the highest importance to people safety. We take this situation very seriously and are doing our utmost to analyze the facts and investigate possible remedies.
