14% of buildings in Ukraine have been destroyed, affecting millions of households, mainly in the east and south of the country, where fighting has been the most intense. In a country where winter temperatures regularly drop to -20 degrees, living conditions for people whose homes have been destroyed are dire.
Active in Ukraine since the start of the conflict, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, with the support of the European Union, rehabilitates the homes of affected families as well as collective shelters to protect them from the cold and rain.
