General Principle
: SOLIDARITES' vocation is to provide humanitarian aid and to intervene
through acts of solidarity, to assist populations under threat by
war or by political, ethnic, economic or any other kind of oppression.

SOLIDARITES is unbiased
and does not support any political, economic, ethnic or religious
groups.

3 : |
Humanitarian aid
is provided without discrimination and is always adapted to the
specific situation of the population being assisted.

4 : |
SOLIDARITES only
intervenes when asked to do so by the population under threat or
by their legitimate representative. This intervention may take the
shape of emergency relief actions or longer-term programs.

SOLIDARITES' actions
are carried out in full respect of the cultural identity and dignity
of each individual.

6 : |
Members of SOLIDARITES
are responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the projects
adopted by the Organisation.

In accordance with
its principles of action and in order to achieve greater efficiency,
SOLIDARITES collects information from other concerned organisations
and institutions, so as to coordinate and possibly cooperate with
them.

As a witness of
the difficult situations in which it gets involved, SOLIDARITES
attempts to inform and, if necessary, alert public opinion.

Every member of
SOLIDARITES adopts and promises to respect the principles defined
in this charter.
