Letters from our donors

We have received many letters from our donors, who are keen to express their support for our emergency teams working in Sri Lanka and in Sumatra in Indonesia. These letters are the most wonderful and most precious forms of encouragement for us. Extracts:

- “We are counting on your precious aid to help the population of Asia, which is going through hell”

- “Our thoughts go out to all those who have died, been injured or who have suffered…Don’t lose heart!!! Be strong…”

- “A donation for these poor people. Well done to all of those working in these difficult situations”

- “Please find enclosed a donation as solidarity for Asia. We are behind you in all the work that you are doing and all the aid that you are bringing to Asia.”

- “To all those inhabitants of countries in South Asia who have lost everything. I am thinking of you with all my heart. I sincerely hope that your country will be rebuilt, that drinking water and food will be returned to you and that there will be no epidemics to add to the disaster already seen in your country”.

- “I am totally overwhelmed and shocked by the extent of the catastrophe that has rocked South-East Asia, I also admire the emergency work accomplished by your teams, with all the organisation problems involved and in the worst conditions imaginable. I hope that my donation will help support your work, bringing drinking water and food whilst waiting for the countries to be rebuilt. Good luck to you all.”
