The Yves Rocher foundation lends us its support

Fondation Yves RocherSince generosity is one of the core values of Yves Rocher group, Jacques Rocher and Alain Boinet became acquainted several years ago. Today, through its foundation, the Yves Rocher Group and its employees are supporting our work through the provision of funds for our first emergency convoys to Asia. Tomorrow, a special campaign among the company's customers will generate further donations, enabling us to provide assistance for the reconstruction of devastated areas.

Greenwich Consulting,
a consultancy firm specialising Telecoms and Media Strategy and Management, added to the donations made by its employees in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Benelux and Portugal so as to make a contribution to the emergency humanitarian activities and future reconstruction projects undertaken by Solidarités in Asia.

The Crédit Coopératif bank has lent its support to Solidarités work in Asia by matching the donations made to this charity by its employees.
To go even further, on the occasion of their regional Annual General Meetings in April-May 2005, the Crédit Coopératif will propose a motion to allocate part of the 2004 profit to the creation of a solidarity and development cooperative fund, to assist in the reconstruction of the affected regions and to support local cooperative organisations.

The Agence de l'Eau Seine-Normandie

Many developing countries receive support from the Agence de l'Eau Seine-Normandie for their drinking water supply and sanitation projects. The sad events in Asia has prompted this Water Board to set up its first emergency partnership, to finance a project undertaken by the charity "Solidarités" in Sri Lanka. "The Board immediately accepted that its solidarity reach beyond the borders of its region" explained Guy Fradin, Director of the Seine-Normandie Water Board, during the signature of the partnership in January 2005.

Syngenta Seeds
Syngenta Seeds, under the brandname S&G, creates, develops and markets vegetable varieties to professional vegetable producers and vendors in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as flower varieties (in the form of seeds and seedlings) throughout the world.
Syngenta is a market leader in the agricultural industry worldwide and is committed to the development of sustainable agriculture through research activities and innovative technologies.

L'Ecole des Mines de Douai
In response to the tidal wave disaster in Asia, the staff and students of the Ecole des Mines de Douai raised 2187 € for Solidarités through a "bowl of rice" solidarity operation, which consisted in replacing the canteen meal by a bowl of rice. Hundreds of students participated in this operation, and charity concerts were also organised by student groups at the school. An original way to provide aid to Tsunami victims.
